September 2011

Well September has been a VERY busy month!  Here are a few of the things we have experienced, accomplished, and enjoyed recently.  We have been busy physically and mentally!

• Memphis vs Mississippi State game - first game of 2011
• Paintied some windows with Nana and Papa and enjoyed a fun filled weekend!
• Labor Day cookout at the Hoffman's with Nana & Papa
• Christi accepted a promotion!  I'll be moving to the Sales Development & Education - Strategic Planning team at FedEx on October 1st!
• Cville turf fields dedication with Mimi and Pop
• Replaced half of the windows in the house with Mimi and Pop
• Put up the fireplace doors (thanks Pop!)
• Jake had surgery to have his dermoid cyst removed under his eyebrow (and he is doing GREAT!)
• Christi's 10 year class reunion in Lewisburg and more fun with Mimi and Pop
• Brad started his fall sports leagues for Cville...football, volleyball, and softball are underway
• Started the MILE mentor program
• Fun times at the park with Kelly and Ericka
• Couples baby shower for Cindy and Caleb's little girl
• Got a new roof from insurance ...they finished it TODAY!

Father's Day 2011

Father's day happened to fall on Jake's real birthday this year (the day after his party).  It was such a great day!  Most of the family that came into town for Jake's birthday were still in town so we got to celebrate at the zoo with both of our parents, Jeff, Sara, & Will, and Kris, Kristi, Alli & Katie.  

Jake absolutely LOVED the zoo!  We figured he would because he loves any animal he sees.  We were so excited about the zoo visit that we decided to buy a family zoo membership.  Cant wait until the next zoo visit!

Jake LOVED the fountans and made some new friends with mommy!  Then Nana got in the fountain to play too!  She really got wet!  :)
